Greetings, warriors and shieldmaidens! From the sonic battlefields of CYGNUS, we bring you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look. Dive into the reflections, epic moments, and unexpected secrets from our latest concert. Join us on this journey filled with music, camaraderie, and Viking spirit.

What was the most epic moment of the show?
Deneb: I think seeing the crowd clapping and following the beat during the folky parts—it always moves me!
Ruxx: I’d say the “Fenrir” mess-up, but that’s more internal because not many people noticed, or at least very few did.
Jota: I really loved the last song because the audience kept asking for it.
Drew: When the show ended!
Stef: Fenrir! I still don’t know how we pulled it off, but it was really cool. :D
If you could describe the concert in one word, what would it be and why?
Deneb: “Intimate,” because there was a select group of people. The venue could only hold around 100 people max.
Ruxx: “Brutal,” because they always ask for an encore, hahaha.
Jota: “Intense,” because there were so many emotions.
Drew: “Magical,” because so much happened, and we gained new young fans.
Stef: “Excellent,” the show went great, and the audience received us so well. I loved it.
What was the most unexpected thing that happened during the event?
Deneb: The terrifying rhythmic slip at the start of “Fenrir, the Wolf.”
Ruxx: Someone really messed up, and we had to adjust. Not saying who, hahaha. Also, there was a fan—fen? friend? I don’t know what to call them—who made me laugh a lot, hahaha.
Jota: When Drew messed up the intro to “Fenrir.” He threw us all under the bus, haha!
Drew: The most unexpected thing for me was seeing such a young crowd, people my age, like 18 to 22. 😜
Stef: We had a peculiar fan—those characters make shows more unique. Unexpected? I don’t think there was anything, really.
Who was the MVP of the night and why?
Deneb: In my opinion, it was Ruxx. Despite the chaos during “Fenrir, the Wolf,” with the sequence and internal click track, he handled it so well. He stayed calm and saved us from disaster.
Ruxx: The applause was the MVP! Hearing the crowd—it’s heroic
.Jota: The MVP was definitely Ruxx, who managed to fix “Fenrir” before starting the verse.
Drew: Stef had an amazing show!
Stef: The audience, without a doubt.
Was there any special ritual before going on stage?
Deneb: Nothing, just a simple group talk to align ideas and get in the right mindset.
Ruxx: Sometimes we do individual rituals—those of us who have them—but this time it felt too rushed since we shared the backstage area.
Jota: We just mentally prepared and stayed calm.
Drew: My ritual is to focus on not throwing up because I get so nervous before going on. But as soon as we start, it always goes away.
Stef: Nope... but we should have a little drink before playing, haha.
Which song felt the most powerful to perform live?
Deneb: I really enjoyed playing “Raise your horns” this time. It felt more explosive than usual.
Ruxx: “Skal!”
Jota: “Ulfberht” is a powerful song that connected really well.
Drew: “The One-eyed Wanderer.”
Stef: I loved playing “Skal” and “Gästabud.” I think we connected really well on those.
What was the audience's reaction or comment that impacted you the most?
Deneb: It’s always positive comments, which makes me so happy. When they want a pick from you or a photo, or they tell you they also have a band—it all moves me a lot!
Ruxx: Their support and applause, even though it was a new audience
.Jota: When a fan caught a pick Deneb threw and got super excited.
Drew: That many people already knew the songs.
Stef: Even though they didn’t know our songs yet, the audience made us feel at home. Comments? That we sounded amazing!
