CYGNUS at FIURA: Our Experience at the Auditions

Yesterday, we had the honor of performing at FIURA (Festival Internacional Uni Rock Alternativo) during its audition phase. It was an intense and exciting day, filled with challenges and lessons, and we want to share our experience with all of you.

Opening the Second Day of Auditions

We had the responsibility of opening the second day of auditions, which was a unique yet demanding experience. From the moment we arrived, it was a race against time to set everything up. Fortunately, we had the invaluable support of George, Peewee, and the entire FIURA roadie team. They made everything flow seamlessly, and we are deeply grateful for their professionalism and energy!

A Short but Powerful Showcase

Our showcase was brief, featuring three songs that represent the heart of CYGNUS: Fenrir, the Wolf, Skål, and Gästabud. Although our performance was early, with only a few attendees, the atmosphere was special. It felt like a private concert where the "select" audience enjoyed every note, and we gave it our all on stage!

300% Passion and Energy

At CYGNUS, we always strive to give 300%, and this occasion was no exception. It doesn’t matter how many people are in the audience; what matters is giving our best and making every second on stage memorable. Knowing that the attendees enjoyed it as much as we did is a victory in itself.

Looking Ahead to FIURA 2025

Now, we wait with anticipation for the audition results. Being selected to participate in the FIURA festival at Universidad del Valle in 2025 would be a dream come true. In the meantime, we’ll keep working, refining every detail of our music, and preparing more surprises for all of you.

We deeply appreciate those who attended, the organizing team, and everyone who makes events like this possible. FIURA is an incredible platform for alternative music, and we are honored to be part of this experience!
