Cygnus live at "plazoleta viva"

1. How would you describe your experience at "Plazoleta Viva" in one phrase?

Deneb: The happiness of life.

Ruxx: A strategic battle.

Stef: That was complete joy!

Jota: A carousel of sensations.

Drew: Brutality.

2. Which song do you think connected most with the audience and why?

Deneb: Maybe "Gästabud." Even though it's instrumental, people really get into the folk vibe it brings.

Ruxx: "Valhalla." I think just the name alone already conveys a general concept.

Stef: "Raise Your Horns." I feel the audience was fully connected with us by then, and they enjoyed it as much as we did on stage.

Jota: "Fenrir," because of its virtuosity and impact.

Drew: All of them, but I think "Fenrir" and "Valhalla" stood out due to their catchy harmonies.

3. What was your favorite moment of the event?

Deneb: The applause from the audience throughout the show—absolute happiness!

Ruxx: The crowd and their wonderful applause.

Stef: Uff, I don’t know. I think there wasn’t a favorite moment; playing with Cygnus is something I always enjoy with all my heart. 💙

Jota: Seeing so many people singing along to our songs!

Drew: Watching the audience mesmerized and enjoying our music.

4. If you could change one thing about the performance, what would it be?

Deneb: Playing for a longer time, with more songs! And those pauses caused by the TV broadcast.

Ruxx: The organization—it was a mess. There were many complications from the TV crew.

Stef: Nothing. Every concert is a challenge, and challenges without obstacles aren’t challenges. I actually like when there are little hiccups because they make us shine brighter in other venues

.Jota: The intervals between songs. Since it was televised, we had to stop between songs. 🙄

Drew: Nothing—it was a learning experience for live performances.

5. What did you feel when you saw the fans enjoying CYGNUS's music?

Deneb: It’s the most beautiful feeling in the world. You see, these are songs we compose and record in our studio with all the hope in the world that people will like them. And when that happens—it’s just beautiful!

Ruxx: I felt pretty weird during the whole show because of the TV interruptions... but beyond that, it’s amazing to see them enjoying our music.

Stef: I loved it. In this salsa-loving city, the people passing through that area aren’t particularly into rock. And yet, they stayed, they enjoyed it, and that made me feel cool

.Jota: It was brutal—an intense connection!

Drew: It was so exciting to see them singing our songs.

6. What message would you give to the technical team or event organizers?

Deneb: First of all, thank you for helping us with everything. Second, sorry for being a bit of a hassle. And third… “Let the man work” (Let us work) hahahahahahaha!

Ruxx: I’d tell them I’m very thankful for helping us pull off the show and the event overall!

Stef: Thank you! Human warmth isn’t a usual trait of tech teams, but this team was super attentive to everything we needed.

Jota: Infinite thanks! It’s one of the few times I’ve felt so comfortable on stage!

Drew: I’d tell them they did an excellent job. I felt very comfortable with the sound.

7. How did you feel sharing the stage with your bandmates that night?

Deneb: It’s always a pleasure, and seeing them happy playing our music makes my heart beat stronger.

Ruxx: I love seeing them running across the stage, owning the concert!

Stef: Once again, I’ll say I enjoy playing with Cygnus so much—it fills me to play so in sync with my warriors.

Jota: It’s always an enriching and fun experience. We’re brothers doing what we love to do.

Drew: Every time I enjoy sharing with my band brothers more and feel that every time we play, we grow more.

8. What did you learn from this experience as a musician?

Deneb: To follow the guidelines of the TV crew and that, even when things seem complex, a good attitude should prevail because everything can improve significantly!

Ruxx: I learned to adapt a little to situations—I’m very rigid, and for me, some things are non-negotiable.

Stef: To move more... Haha! Interacting with an audience has always been something I don’t dominate, and with Cygnus, I’m learning to own the stage. I hope to grow big like the greats

.Jota: To interact a bit more with the audience!

Drew: I learned to have more calmness and patience.

9. Lastly, what words of gratitude or reflection would you like to leave for the fans who supported CYGNUS that day?

Deneb: It’s always a pleasure to see you and get to know you! Seeing those happy faces in the front row fills us with hope to simply give you the best of us! And, of course... see you soon!

Ruxx: Follow your dreams... Say no to drugs.

Stef: Keep supporting us—Cygnus is here to stay! I hope you continue enjoying our music everywhere!

Jota: Thank you for your love, support, and presence. Wishing you all the best always!

Drew: I thank the fans for always being there, supporting us, and giving us the strength to keep pursuing our dreams. Infinite thanks!

When our four suns rise... ☀️☀️☀️☀️

Background stories are most welcome! :) e.g. how it's going when a tv channel broadcasts you, what's the difference between a regular show and one with a TV channel being around, what preparations you need to make in case of the latter one...

...sorry, if I start with my questions, it's hard to stop 😁😍
